Cristiano Ronaldo is back from the Euro 2016 injury
Cristiano Ronaldo had to miss out from the majority of the Euro 2016 finals after picking up an injury in the first half which forced him to leave the pitch but nonetheless Portugal still managed to pull through and come out on top with the victory even without their star player on the pitch.
This match was played on July 10 of the ongoing year and the injury that C.Ronaldo sustained is still affecting him as he is still not believed to be completely recovered but according to recent reports, the Portuguese attacker is once again training with the rest of his Real Madrid teammates.
There was a chance that C.Ronaldo could miss out from Real Madrid’s opening match of the season which is scheduled to take place on August 21 as his team faces off with Real Sociedad but with the recovery process almost done, C.Ronaldo might be able to perform in this approaching match but everything will depend on Zinedine Zidane as the French coach has to make the decision on whether or not to risk putting his star player in the match so quickly after just having recovered.
The 31 year old Portuguese player is believed to be in the process of extending his contract with Real Madrid with a new deal that will be keeping the superstar with the Spanish club at least until 2020 and if these contract renewal rumors are indeed true then it’s very likely that Real Madrid is the last club that he is going to be performing with before eventually deciding to hang up his boots and retire.
Real Madrid has the task of defending the Champions League title and keeping hold of C.Ronaldo for as long as possible is one of the more important things that the Spanish club has to do in order to fulfill all of their assignments for the approaching season.
